My silly old dog will curl up in the strangest places. Put anything on the floor - an old towel, a bag, even a newspaper and he will curl up on it. Or he'll find a strange corner to curl up in.
Give him a box and he'll be in there within 5 minutes. Which he definitely was in this case - he was in as soon as I'd put it down for him and turned my back.
He's a funny old dog - in fact he's a bit bananas.
